North Cascades meats farmers coop

...I sent him my check today to becomea member of this cooperative.  USDA slaughter is an important part of making local producers profitable, and I finally figured that I should vote with my dollars. 

This is a group of farmers that are banding together to build their own slaughter and processing facilities, and to help build a regional brand around their meat so that consumers can know they're getting locally grown and supported products.
