I think a lot about it, Bruce. Although we don't grow meat like you do, preferring to produce vegetables, fruit and eggs, we also manage to feed ourselves to quite a large extent. With 1/4 acre of garden, about 1/8 acre of berries, peach and apple trees, and 22 laying hens, we are able to grow well over half of what we eat. It really tastes good! Each year we'll increase that a bit and we will make large local purchases for freezing or canning what we don't or can't grow ourselves. It's very satisfying.
It is very satisfying. We as a society are going to be producing food for the long term. In western washington, and to some extent all over the northwest (oregon, washington) we're choosing to export our food production and import our food.
hmmm, do some research on agenda 21, also, the Georgia Guidestones may give up a clue or two, if you notice the recommended population quota.
