And elsewhere on the farm...

I've been working with my sows to see if group raising works.  the problem I've had is that piglets that are even a few days apart in age out compete the smaller ones.  When I get two sows that farrow within a day of each other, I'll house them together.  These two are an example. 

They're both sweet as butter.  Docile and a real joy to work with.  No problems handling their pigs or working around them. 
And if it's chilly, it's a double warming blanket for the piglets.  Wall o' mom!
