Looking for (other) blog suggestions

There's a list down the right side of "blogs I follow", and most of them post pretty infrequently anymore.  So do you have a blog related to farming that you follow that produces at least a post a week?

I'd hate to see some of them go, but if you're not blogging anymore, well...

  1. Self promotion here - I've given you link to my blog once before... My brother or I post at least every week. This year we've aimed for twice a week each and have stuck to that program for the most part.

Not all our posts are directly agricultural, but many are in one respect or another.

  2. Yeah I should update mine.

A couple of the ones I like reading that actually post:

I'm slack myself at posting, but the wife is a posting queen: http://bratlikeme.com

  3. When I read your post I thought right away of Cairn Crest Farm at http://cairncrestfarm.com/blog/. They post quite frequently and, as someone developing a new farm, I find it very interesting and informative, always with exceptionally beautiful photography. When I went to write this recommendation I noticed that Edmund Brown had already responded so this now comes as a "second to the motion."

  6. Interesting blog - she also wrote a book about her 1st year on the farm.

  7. You have not posted anything on free food finds for the pigs for a while. Do you just feed them from the farm now? How is the milking with the millers going? I guess the pigs will get plenty of milk when the cows are fresh.

  8. Here's another one you might enjoy. He writes well. His operation is not too far from me here in NY, and very similar in production methods, type of product and target market.
